What is GooMomo Farming?

The word “GooMomo” is intended to bring a smile to your face.
GooMomo introduces a technology that can revolutionize farming as we know it today.
Farming that implements this technology is called “GooMomo Farming".

(Note) : This service is for Japan only

PROTECTING THE HEALTH OF PRODUCERS
WHILE GROWING HEALTHIER PRODUCE.

Apart from the widely used pest-control-calendar-based pesticide spraying,
we thought i'd be great to have an alternative system that can use pesticides efficiently, while paying heed to the health of the producer.

GOOMOMO FARMING PROVIDES CONSUMERS
WITH JOY AND HEALTH.

At our own GooMomo farm in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan,
we grow seasonal vegetables employing a method that does not use any pesticide.
When wine is made from well-balanced and healthy grapes produced
with the help of such farming techinques,it provides consumers with joy and health.

A SCIENTIFIC APPROACH TO SPRAYING PESTICIDES,
BASED ON FARMLAND ENVIROMENTAL DATA, PRODUCES NEW VALUE.

By adopting such a scientific approach, new benefits are achieved
by notifying the farmers of the timing of pesticide spraying.
This method complements the intuition and experience of the producer.
With this service, we intend to channel the health and well-being of the producers and consumers to a new height.

Expectations from our reviewers

Prof. Toru Okuda, University of Yamanashi, Graduate School of Integrated Arts and Sciences, Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences
(Director of Wine Science Research Center)

With global warming, grapevine diseases are becoming more serious all over the world, and I have high expectations that the use of ICT to efficiently control these diseases will be very useful not only for the wine industry but also for agriculture in general.

Assoc. Prof. Tomohiro Suzuki, Graduate School of Engineering, University of Yamanashi

Among the several examples of field data use that we have seen so far, we feel that disease forecasting is one of the most clear-cut example of data-driven applications. We are looking forward to seeing how engineering, including ICT, can contribute to viticulture.
